I am licensed to practice law in California. I have over 30 years of experience in the area of employment law. I obtained my Juris Doctor degree in law from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.  Before law school, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland.

• wage and compensation claims before the California Labor Commissioner’s Office

• Unemployment Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Paid Family Leave benefit claims before the California Employment Development Department

• workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and request for reasonable accommodations with the California Civil Rights Department and the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

• handle grievance arbitration, mediation, and contract negotiations

• provide California mandated sexual harassment training

• handle cases involving applications for disability and industrial disability retirement benefits with CalPERS, CalSTRS & SCERS.
